On July 5, 2011, Trihydro continued hard/flexible piping GAC connections to the City of Indianapolis sanitary sewer manway and to the ditch leading to Oil Creek. Piping connections are being made for potential future discharge, pending City of Indianapolis approval.
-Brenntag Midsouth, Inc. was on site and removed their 4 empty hypochlorite solution totes.
-City of Indianapolis personnel were on site and collected waste characterization samples for the northeast area stormwater.
· Pre-treatment and post-treatment samples were collected for future potential Special Discharge Agreements.
-The Cornell DAF pumps were located and photos of the LEAF equipment for repossession were uploaded to the website.
On July 6, 2011, AVS hauled off 2 loads (11,000 gal) of oily water from the concrete access pit to Clean Water’s facility in Dayton, OH.
-Midwest began cleaning out frac tanks 7-10, with intentions to potentially use them for stormwater storage in the future.
· Midwest has vacuumed out 3,500 gal of oily water from frac tanks 7 and 8.
· Midwest is pressure washing frac tank 7 and is encountered tar along the bottom of the tank and around the heating coils.
· Oily water vacuumed out has been pumped into the center and east solidification pits.
-Midwest completed drum sampling activities.
-Asphalt Materials began grading activities in the areas planned for permanent berm construction.
On July 7, 2011, AVS hauled off 2 loads (9,800 gal) of oily water from the concrete access pit to Clean Water’s facility in Dayton, OH.
-Midwest continued cleaning out frac tanks 7-10.
-Harvest Technologies was on site as a potential vendor for solidification agents, specifically wood pulp.
On July 8, 2011, AVS hauled off 2 loads (9,100 gal) of oily water from the concrete access pit to Clean Water’s facility in Dayton, OH.
-Trihydro continued hard/flexible piping GAC connections to the City sanitary sewer manway and to the ditch leading to Oil Creek.
-Trihydro pumped approximately 40,000 gal of oily water from the northeast area into the raw water frac tanks.
