1.1.2 Site Description
Bankrupt and abandoned bio-diesel facility. Site currently supports an office building and production building. There are two 10,000 gallons above ground storage tanks one of which contains flammable liquids and is leaking onto the ground. Scattered along the property there are approximately 50 plastic totes and containers ranging in size from drums to small lab size bottles.

Located at the end of Ben Coggins Avenue off Will Robbins Highway, within the City of Limits of the City of Nettleton, MS.
1.1.2.2 Description of Threat
Leaking storage tanks and plastic totes are present at the site. An open pit containng a yet undetermined amount of liquids and sludges covered by a hardened crust of unknown composition is also present. The pit is almost to capacity and could overflow with any significant rain event.

OSC has mobilized START and ERRS resources to the Site. START collected a sample from the leaking stoirage tank and conducted hazard categorization. It was determined that the liquid is a flamable. START has also initiated preparations to conduct additional sampling durng the next operational period.
