Approximately 2,000 cyds of contaminated material south of Harrier Creek Road was removed and placed on the impoundment. Prior to backfill of the Assay Office in the Mill area, five composite XRF samples were collected using a 40 foot grid and one composite sample was sent for laboratory analysis. Approximately 175 cyds of backfill material was placed at the Assay Office. One composite sample was collected of the backfill material and sent for laboratory analysis. Harrier Creek Road was inspected using an XRF daily. On November 20th, a 50-foot portion of Harrier Creek Road tested positive for low level contamination and was capped with clean borrow material to prevent the spread of contaminated material. Situation to be dealt with before site closure. Additional SWPPP controls and BMP were added on-Site in preparation of the completion of the 2014 construction season. Construction equipment was decontaminated prior to transportation off-Site on November 21st.
