    2.1.1 Narrative
During the seasonal work shutdown period, the RPs consultant, Resource Environmental Management Consultants (REMC) monitored site conditions, overpacked and removed the drums that had been staged prior to the seasonal work shutdown, excavated 13 test pits north of Harrier Creek Road to determine the depth of tailings, and conducted a pre-construction season site meeting.

During the reporting period, the staged drums were removed from the site. The manifests are not available at this time.

Site work is scheduled to begin May 18, 2015. The anticipated work schedule is as follows:
May 2015
  • Excavate and haul surrounding soils east of Goldfield Mine Road at slough area.
  • Construct Wedge Buttress
  • Confirmation sampling of Disturbed Areas south of the impoundment
June 2015
  • Complete Wedge Buttress construction
  • Excavate perimeter of the impoundment
  • Excavate tailings north of Harrier Creek Road
  • Clean up haul road
  • Excavate material south of Harrier Creek Road
  • Clear and grub borrow soil areas
  • Stockpile topsoil
July 2015
  • Complete excavation of materials south of Harrier Creek Road
  • Confirmation sampling of disturbed areas north of the impoundment
