The Green Bay Area Public School District hired North Shore Environmental Construction (NSEC) to clean the impacted areas at Lincoln Elementary School and Franklin Middle School.  All cleaning was conducted on December 7, 2016.  EPA verified the cleanup at both schools.  All classes and school activities resumed at both schools on December 8, 2016.

Arrangements were made with the property owner for access to the impacted residence on December 7, 2016.  It was determined that the property owner was unable to conduct the necessary cleanup of the impacted residence.  EPA mobilized an ERRS crew and initiated cleanup of the mercury impacted items and home on December 8, 2016.  EPA completed the cleanup and turned the residence over to WDNR and state and local health officials on December 11, 2016 for clearance and release of the condemnation order.  The family living in the home was evacuated on December 6, 2016 and is still at a local hotel.
