  2.1 Operations Section
2.1.1 Narrative  - Many responders have mobilized to the scene including RJ Corman, Hepaco, and CTEH.  Several government entities are also present including Liberty CityPolice and Fire, Pickens County HAZMAT, SC DHEC and EMD, EPA and NWS

2.1.2 Response Actions to Date  - local EMA has evacuated all nearby residents as a precaution- Much of the isopropanol has been pumped off to vac trucks because the tankers were to badly damaged and leaking.  Ethylene glycol was also leaking.  Hepaco installed an earthen dam to intecept flow of hazardous material prior to the materials discharging to a nearby creek.  Norfolk Southern has addressed each car and cautiously staged them for material transfer.  The highest concern materials, vinyl acetate and toluene diisocyanide, appear to be damaged but intact and free of leaks.  NS intends to transfer these tankers first.  The owner of the TDI, Bayer, is arranging to conduct that transfer themselves.
