2.1.2 Response Actions to Date

Period 09/09/13 to 09/20/2013, EPA and ERRS on site to:

  • Collect samples for waste disposal characterization
  • Field hazard categorization of containers less tha 5 gallons to  determine appropriate loose packing group.
  • Less than 5 gallon containers loose packed based on waste streams.
  • Larger containers overpacked in to DOT shippable containers.
  • Emptied containers de-headed and crushed.
  • EPA and ERRS demobed from the site on 09/20/2013 whilst awaiting analytical results and awarding disposal subcontracting.
Period 10/09/2013 to 10/10/2013, EPA and ERRS on site to:
  • Affix container labels.
  • Coordinate off-site disposal shipments
As of 10/10/2013, all site activities have been completed and no further actions are anticipated.
