During the last few months, the PRP was able to treat the majority of the soil at the landfarm. To date, approximately 7,650 cubic yards of material have been excavated and sent to the landfarm for remediation. Of that amount, roughly 4,000 cubic yards of material has been successfully remediated and 3,000 cubic yards hauled back to the excavation site and used as backfill. Nine hundred feet of vapor extraction trench has been excavated and fitted with a fully functioning SVE system. The system has been fully tested and is operating currently with ongoing monitoring to evaluate effectiveness.
