An estimated release to the ground of approximately 200 gallons of diesel during a a delivery to a 10,000 gallon AST occurred due to over pressurization on the manifold system to to the tank. Additionally, a product inventory discreapency of approximately 4,500 gallons was discovered and the Decatur Utilities POTW reported diesel odor and product at their lift station on Joe Wheeler Hwy (AL 20) and at the POTW (Wilson Street,SW). There is also concern the release may have impacted Bakers Creek, which is a tributary to the Tennessee River.
