OSC Leos has been dispatched to a fire that occurred in southwest OKC this morning. According to news reports, up to seven tanks were on fire resulting from a lightning strike. It is unclear whether the fire has been extinguished but as of 0930, news reports indicate that it was nearly out. ODEQ has been contacted and they have indicated that it raining very hard at the time and that foam was used on the fire. No NRC report was made. Upon arrival, Leos will obtain additional information of materials released/discharged, emergency response actions taken and determine if additional EPA emergency response actions are necessary.
