Incident scene approximately post vent/burn. Remaining flame is the result of one charge not venting the liquid in the tank, forcing it to release as a vapor. The product was released at a much slower rate, and is being allowed to burn off.
Date Taken: 4/1/2019
Category: Removal
Latitude: 39.7553666666667
Longitude: -112.201827777778
Tags: Site File
Post burn image of the known leaking car. Original leak forced high pressure propane into to soil, freezing it. The remaining flame near the wheel set is believed to result from this propane slowly releasing from the soil.
Date Taken: 4/1/2019
Category: Removal
Latitude: 39.7553666666667
Longitude: -112.201827777778
Tags: Site File

Phosphoric Acid car post burn. Car appears intact and the burst disk (an emergency pressure relief device) did not burst, indicating that the thermal protection constructed before the vent/burn operation last night were successful and the product remained in the car.
Date Taken: 4/1/2019
Category: Removal
Latitude: 39.7553666666667
Longitude: -112.201827777778
Tags: Site File
