Planned Removal Actions
-Continue to recover oil.
-During the week of February 14th 2005, EPA plans to install a groundwater depression pumping system inside of the current extraction wells to increase the efficiency of oil removal.  The pumping system will continuously pump groundwater from the three on site extraction wells, treat the groundwater, and then discharge it (under permit) to the city of Ashton's POTW.

Next Steps
-Transportation and Disposal of recovered product as needed.
-Amended Oil Removal Project Plan to address the installation of groundwater depression pumping systems was approved by USCG NPFC for funding.
-EPA to mobilize week of February 14, 2005 to install pumping system.
-EPA will operate these systems for another 6 months and then re-evaluate.

Key Issues
New Budget listed below - USCG NPFC approval of amended Oil Removal Project Plan.
