Site Description
The Site is a large residential area surrounding the former forge facility.  Soil was contaminated with lead and other heavy metals believed to be from the facility.  The majority of the off-site work has been conducted in years past.  However, persistent discussions with two land owners eventually resulted in acquiring site assess on six parcels of land.  Those parcels has lead contamination about the action level.

Current Activities
The yards were excavated.  The contaminated soild disposed of offsite.  The yards were backfilled and restored.

Planned Removal Actions
No future removal action is anticipated.
