Site Description
Local and state agencies notified and requested assistance from EPA to install fencing around a portion of the Site where drainage accumulates into a pond area.  Notifications indicated that local children began accessing this pond area, which contained residual contaminants from previous facility operations.

The portion of the Site that was being accessed is south of the railroad tracks between two fenced in areas.

Current Activities
EPA activated ERRS contractors, who mobilized and installed approximately 1,650 feet of six foot tall chain-link fencing with three strands barbed wire across the drainage area that includes the pond.  Additionally, signage was installed to notify unathorized persons that access was prohibited.
