Aircraft Service International Group initially reported in NRC Report No. 1145917 that 50 gallons of Jet A fuel was spilled and made it to the storm drain . On April 22, 2016, at 1925 hours, Georgia Environmental Protection Division (GA EPD) contacted the Duty Officer and advised that the RP had underestimated the size of the spill. The updated amount spilled is estimated to be 4000 gallons. The spill has impacted the Flint River. Response contractors are on-scene. OSC Karen Buerki was deployed to assess the situation and ensure proper response actions are taken. Downstream notifications were made by Georgia Emergency Management Agency and GA EPD to Clayton County and the City of Atlanta. NRC Report No.114993 was submitted by the RP to update the spill amount.
