Former plating operation. The Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) has requested assistance in assessing this former RCRA facility large quantity generator. The plating operation ceased several years ago, but the plating line(s) are still in place and there are drums of materials in the facility. The building is reportedly in poor condition.

EPA conducted a site visit with the Baltimore Housing Department on May 3, 2016. On a return visit on May 18, 2016 with Housing inspectors and the Baltimore Fire Department, it was determined that the building was unsafe, and a Condemnation Order was issued. On May 19th, the OSC issued a Special Bulletin, and initiated a cleanup at the site.
