In June 2024, EPA completed a Time-Critical Removal Action at the North Ridge Estates National Priorities List (NPL) Site in Operable Unit 2. The area of this removal was a former munitions range with elevated lead contamination in soil that was located in close proximity to residential properties. The removal action consisted of excavation and off-site disposal of approximately 741 cubic yards of contaminated soils. The removal area was the last known remaining cleanup area on the NPL site with contamination remaining above residential cleanup levels.
