On 5/11/06, a tanker truck operated by Palm Dale Oil overturned at Griffin Road (Under I-95) in Dania Beach, Florida. Approximately 4,200 gallons of unleaded gasoline was released into the environment. An unknown amount of product has entered the storm drain system, which leads to a drainage basin. FDEP/BER personnel are on site and have hired a cleanup contractor to "hot-tap" the rolled over tanker and remove the remaining product. OSC David Dorian was dispatched to the site to provide assistance as needed.
