At Kentucky DEPs request, OSC Glenn Adams was dispatched to the site at 8:30 pm on Wednesday, April 25th to assist local law enforcement and County Health officials with assessing and stabilizing unknown materials in a residence. Local law enforecement found several syringes and bags of material which appeared to be associated with mushroom cultivation of possibly hallucinagenic materials. The owner of the residence was arrested earlier in the day for other charges.
On Thursday, April 26th, OSC Steve Spurlin provided local Marshall County Hazmat with technical assistance and support while securing the items from the home and arranging for disposal of the materials.
