The Aluminum Finishing of SC Site (Site) is the location of a former aluminum electroplating, plating, polishing, anodizing and coloring operation. The site was operated by Aluminum Finishing of SC Corporation from approximately 1999 until 2004. The site has been referred to EPA ERRB for removal evaluation by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC). On May 30, 2007, EPA visited the Site and noted the presence of leaking and unstable drums and containers. An Emergency Removal Action was initiated by the OSC to stabilize the Site.
