A broken mercury thermometer resulted in residual mercury "micro-beads" and elevated concentrations of mercury vapor in the air space at a residential property. EPA in coordination with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources assisted the property owner as they removed residual mercury from the house and vented the air space. After a weekend of heating and venting, mercury vapor levels in the house were below levels of concern.
