A crude oil spill from a 3-inch transmission pipeline occurred in February 2000. The Responsible Party (RP), EEOT Energy, Inc., mobilized to the site and began an extensive removal action. The Kansas Department of Health and Environment oversaw the final phases of the cleanup, which was completed December 4, 2001.
