At approximately 0830 hrs on April 10, 2008, a truck transporting Acetic Acid reportedly had a spill at Hillcrest and I-635, Dallas, TX. UNIVAR contacted the National Response Center (NRC) at 0912 hrs. The NRC assigned the incident # 867540. UNIVAR reported that approximately 220 gallons of acetic acid had been released and that westbound I-635 was closed.
