The Collegedale Fire Department found an unlabeled/unmarked chemical tote, approximately 30% full of opaque brown liquid on the bank of Wolftever Creek near 5030 Hunter Road, Ooltewah, Tennessee (outside Chattanooga). The tote is abandoned and lodged in washed timbers on the north bank of the creek. Flooding (from last years rainy season in the Fall may have carried the tote to its current location. The incident was referred to TDEC who then referred it to EPA. OSC David Andrews and ERRS was deployed to address the incident.
