On March 16, 2011 EPA Region 4 Emergency Response and Removal Branch (ERRB) received a report of an environmental violation through epa.gov of abandoned drums at a former cotton and peanut packaging facility in Ellaville, GA.

On March 17, 2011 OSC Crowley mobilized to the Site to check on the status of the drums and ensure that they were properly contained.
