A tanker truck containing both gasoline and diesel fuel rolled over on highway 76 in Rabun County, Georgia approximately 3/4 miles from the State line. Receiving waters flowed approximately a mile before entering the Chatooga River. Multiple County, State, and Federal agencies collaborated in the response. The responsible party hired HEPACO to conduct recovery operations. EPA OSC Jordan Garrard represented EPA for this emergency.
