On December 10, 2012 at 8:02 pm, Kinder Morgan reported a 13,000 gallon Sodium Hydroxide spill to the National Response Center. National Response Center Incident Report #1032879. The Kinder Morgan facility is located at 3806 Kellog Avenue, Cincinnati, OH. The facility is located along the Ohio River on the east side of Cincinnati.

US EPA, Ohio EPA, Cincinnati Fire Department, and US Coast Guard responded to the spill. Kinder Morgan hired Clean Harbors to respond to the spill. See POLREP 1 for response details.
