The incident is the location of a discharge of oil from an abandoned facility into the navigable waters of the United States. The volume in the water is about 55 gallons. The specific source is a tank which is component to a facility believd to contain 2 tanks, 3 wells, and piping. WVDEP responded to the incident, assessed the situation, requested EPA assistance, and initiated response actions.
