2.1 Operations Section

2.1.1 Narrative
Final restoration of work areas in SA1A&B, SA3A and SA5A was initiated. The John Street staging pad was removed and most all trailers, heavy equipment, and storage containers were removed from the site.
2.1.2 Response Actions to Date
From October 26 to November 8, EPA and ERRS contractors conducted the following activities:
Site Activities - John Street Staging Area
- Removed 8700 gallons of potentially contaminated contact water from the staging pad sump via tanker truck;
- Removed staging pad for transport and disposal at approved landfill facility;
- Demobilized EPA's support trailer/equipment for mobile wastewater treatment plant;
- Demobilized office trailers, storage container, and heavy equipment;
- Conducted post-construction soil sampling; and
- Decontaminated, wipe sampled and demobilized remaining heavy equipment.
Site Activities - SA1A & B
- Re-installed fencing along bike trail which was removed for the project; and
- Began replacing or repairing impacted sidewalk.
Project Management Activities
- Met with property owners as necessary;
- Developed close-out letters for individual property owners affected by project; and
- Continued development of project final report.

2.2 Planning Section

Removal activities anticipated to take place from November 9 to November 22 include the following:

Site Activities - SA5A
- Restore vegetation on east bank according to area-specific restoration plan; and
- Replace impacted sidewalk sections.
Site Activities - SA3A
- Replaced impacted sidewalk, street curbs and entrance aprons.
Site Activities - SA1A, B & C
- Begin restoring vegetation in SA1A & B in accordance with the area-specific restoration plan;
- Replace impacted sidewalk and entrance aprons in SA1B & C
- Repair or replace impacted asphalt in SA1A, B & C
Site Activities - John Street Staging Area
- Regrade former staging pad area, seed and straw;
- Conduct final elevation survey of staging pad area; and
- Demobilize EPA's mobile wastewater treatment plant.
Project Management Activities
- Meet with property owners about restoration activities as necessary;
- Continue development of project final report; and
- Continue project close-out activities.
